In 2008 Azerigaz received 11,205,000,000 cubic meters from the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan, said head of Azerigaz Alikhan Melikov at a press conference.
He said the SOCAR gas is the gas from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli in the volume of 2, 027,000,000 cubic meters and Shah Deniz in the volume of 2,332,000,000 cubic meters.
"Azerenerji received 4,953,000,000 cubic meters and Georgia 441,000,000 cubic meters. The volume of gas sold to Azerigaz made 4,518,000,000 cubic meters for AZN 258,000,000. The payment made AZN 165,000,000. The overall payment among all categories of subscribers made 64%", said he.
At the same time Melikov noted that the state budget received AZN 45,000,000, the state fund of social protection of the population AZN 12,500,000, and AZN 37,600,000 allocated for monthly wages.
Moreover, he said AZN 15,000,000 was spent on major repair and AZN 30,000,000 on major construction.
Melikov announced that the underground gas reservoirs accumulated 1,400,000,000 cubic meters of gas for ensuring gas supply to consumers in winter.
"470,000,000 cubic meters of gas have been so far used from the underground gas reservoirs and currently it makes 930,000,000 cubic meters. 10,000,000 cubic meters is used from gas reservoirs every day", said Melikov.
