The mutual trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Ukraine made about $1 bln last year, said Ukrainian ambassador to Azerbaijan Boris Klimchuk, according to Novosti-Azerbaijan.
"No official information on this issue was provided yet, but in 2008 the trade turnover neared $1bln", he noted at a press conference on Friday.
He said business circles of the two states continue active cooperation.
"Ukrainian grain and flour are supplied to Azerbaijan though in small volumes. As of January 1 Azerbaijan had been supplied with 100,000 tons of Ukrainia grain", noted the ambassador.
According to Klimchuk, 5 air flights are operating between Baku and Kiev every week.
