Azerbaijan has completely covered its electricity arrears owed to Iran, said AzerEnerji.
The national company said the account has reached a zero level. At present the two countries continue exchanging electricity.
Azerbaijan had been supplying 1.3 million to 1.4 million kilowatts of electricity a day to Iran since April so as to pay off its debt.
The arrears of electricity were 258 million kilowatts in April.
