The Azerbaijani government is positive on the intention of private companies, producing the same goods, to unite into an alliance for the purpose of strengthening export positions, said Economic Development Minister of Azerbaijan.
He said such alliances aim to conduct joint policy in the sphere of control over quality, prices of production. "We still receive some reclamations due to the low quality of exported production and such initiatives may settle this issue and also promote growth in agricultural production", the Minister said.
It should be noted that memorandum of mutual understanding on creation of AZERI Fruit Co stock company has recently been signed in Baku. The project comprises the Azerbaijan Investment Company, Azerbaijan Export and Investments Promotion Foundation (Azpromo), Qarnet and SAF.
