The law, prohibiting sale of goods with markings in Armenian language, is absent in Azerbaijan, said chairman of Free Consumers Association Eyub Huseynov, according to Novosti-Azerbaijan.

"Goods with a marking in Armenian language, can be sold on Azerbaijani market and those who state the admissibility of it, should show me the law, that prohibits the sale of such products", said the chairman.

Huseynov considers that Azerbaijani consumers and state institutions should attain marking goods, imported to Azerbaijan, in the state language of our country, alongside with other languages, including Armenian.

At the same time Khanim Soltanova, chief of expertise department of the Central Laboratory of foodstuffs under the State Customs Committee, considers that prohibition of import and sale of Armenian-made goods in Azerbaijan is quite substantiated, as "an Armenian producer, being aware that his production will be exported to Azerbaijan, can poison or spoil it on purpose".

Soltanova called to display a differentiated approach to Armenian made production and goods of any other country with a marking in Armenian. The latter can be imported and sold in Azerbaijan.
