Azerbaijan's Transport Minister Ziya Mamedov met with Slovakian Minister of Transport and Communications Ljubomir Vazhni.
Novosti-Azerbaijan reports with reference to the Ministry that the meeting participants discussed exchange of experience in the sphere of transport.
The sides signed a protocol of intentions to develop bilateral cooperation in the sphere of transport.
Mamedov informed the visitor about current state of spheres, substituting the road transport complex of Azerbaijan, reforms and works conducted. He noted that the government pays special attention to the transport sphere, large scale measures are taken to develop the road transport complex in line with international standards.
Slovakian Minister also spoke of the experience of his country in this sphere. During the meeting, which resulted in signing of the aforementioned document, the sides exchaged view on the interactions between the two countries in the transport sector, as well as on future projects.
