"Poland intends to cooperate with Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan in transporting gas to Eastern Europe", said senior adviser on energy security of Poland Voizeh Zayachklovski at the conference "Caspian Oil and Gas".
"In a strive to develop competitive gas market in Europe, Poland participates in the Eurasian transport corridor project", noted he.
He said the feasibility study of the Odessa-Brody project will be completed in December of 2008.
"This will increase the capacity of transporting energy sources from the Caspian region and open a new page of cooperation between Azerbaijan and EU", said Zayachkovski.
He said today Europe strives for receiving Caspian oil and gas reserves.
Zayachkovski also announced that presently Poland is discussing a number of projects with Russia, which is a main mediator between the South Caucasus region and Poland.
