The 33rd annual session of the Directors' Board of Islamic Development Bank is to be held in Jidda city (Saudi Arabia) on June 3-4.
The press service for the Azerbaijan Economic Development Ministry reports that the event to be attended by representatives of 56 countries, joining the Islamic Development Bank, will hear reports of the bank's structures and define directions of the activity for the next few years.
During the event Azerbaijan will be represented by Economic Development Minister Heydar Babayev. In the framework of the visit, he is expected to meet with IDB directors board.
It should be noted that there is a plan to hold the 35th annual session of the IDB directors board in Baku in 2010.
