Juridical and physical persons in the country established mutual trade relations with 122 countries during January-May this year.
The total volume of foreign trade turnover was US$ 2.82 billion, as well as export was $1.06 billion and import was $1.76 billion in this period. The total volume of foreign trade turnover increased 20.4% in comparison with January-May, 2004. According to the information given to APA from State Statistics Committee, European countries shared 30.6% of export-import operations, the CIS countries 26.4%, and other countries shared 43%.Europe shared 53.4% of total turnover, Asia 42.5%, America 3.1%, Africa 0.8%, Oceania shared 0.2%. More than 80% of the foreign trade operations were realized by the account of Singapore, Russia, Italy, Turkey, the United Kingdom, Turkmenistan, France, Iran, Germany, China, Ukraine, Georgia, Croatia and the US. /APA/
