Azerbaijani grandmaster wins blitz tournament in President's Cup in Baku

Azerbaijani grandmaster Shahriyar Mammadyarov won the blitz tournament in the President's Cup in Baku. The tournament brought together 14 chess players. After 13 rounds Shahriyar Mammadyarov and Vladimir Kramnik scored 10.5 points each.

In the tiebreaker, Azerbaijani grandmaster came out stronger and won the blitz tournament. Another Azerbaijani grandmaster Teimur Rajabov took the third place with 9.5 points.
