New foreign coach will head Azerbaijan national football team

In the near future Azerbaijani National female football team and girls’ team (U-17) will be led by a foreign specialist, Secretary General of AFFA Elkhan Mammadov said.

"The world female football championship in 2012 will be held in Azerbaijan, and we want to form a good team by that time. Therefore, we plan to sign a contract with a well known specialist. At the moment, we are searching the candidates. The chosen one will also lead the national team"- he said.
