Azerbaijani gymnasts won two medals at World Cup in Greece

Azerbaijani gymnast Aliya Garayeva won a silver medal on the final day of competition.

After receiving 27.25 points from the judges, she lost only to Russian Daria Kondakova (27,55). In the finals with a hoop Aliya took 5th place (26,3) and 8th place with 25.325 in the finals with a skipping rope.

Azerbaijani team (Jeyla Guliyeva, Stephanie Traianova, Anastasia Prasolova, Nigar Abdusalimova, Jamila Huseynova and Aelity Khalafova) performed with five hoops securing fifth place with a result of 25.975 points.

Before the finals, Azerbaijan’s team of gymnasts won bronze in the all-around competitions.

Thus, Azerbaijani gymnasts claimed two medals at the World Cup in Kalamata.
