Azerbaijan consolidates third spot in Bursa world chess championship

Azerbaijan cemented the third spot for itself after 3.5-0.5 win over Brazil in the seventh round of the world team championship in Bursa, Turkey.
Russia was ousted by USA from the top spot after being held by Armenia 2-2 while the American team beat Greece1.5-2.5

India ranks fourth (9 points), Armenia fifth (8 points), Israel sixth (7 points), Greece seventh (6 pts), Egypt eighth (3 pts), Turkey ninth (3 pts), Brazil tenth (2 pts)

Azerbaijan will clash with Greece in the eight round on Tuesday.
