Azerbaijan purchases 3 new vessels

The Azerbaijani Emergency Situations Ministry has purchased three new vessels from Netherlands in order to clean the Kur River, Minister Kemaladdin Heydarov said.

He said new ships will soon work in the area of Kur: “They will be used in clearance of the bottom of Kura and coast-fixing works. The vessels are the most modern technology in this area”. He added that through the new technology, in future, apart from flooding, the ground waters, which create problems in areas of Salyan, Neftchala and Kurdemir areas will be prevented too”.
