Azerbaijan attends regional anti-corruption conference

Employees of the Anti-Corruption Department under the Azerbaijani General Prosecutor`s Office participate in the regional anti-corruption conference started in Tbilisi yesterday. Addressing the conference, Azeri representatives provided information on progress achieved in this sphere in the country, legislative base, institutional measures and interrogation of corruption crime.

Prosecutor General of Georgia Murtaz Zodelava said that Georgia became a model country in fight against corruption according to Global Corruption Barometer. The event co-organized by Georgian Prosecutor`s Office, Ministry of Justice and the United States Department of Justice brings together experts from Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Moldova, Armenia, US and European countries. The conference will culminate on Friday.
