Conference on prevention of domestic violence runs in Baku

The Azerbaijan National Academy of Science`s (ANAS) Institute of Philosophy, Sociology and Law has hosted an international conference on prevention of domestic violence. The participants of the event included Francoise Guyot, Deputy Prosecutor at the Paris Public Prosecutor's Office, Gerard Lopez, Director of the French Institute of Victimology, and head physician at the Baku Central Clinical Hospital of Psychiatry Shaig Sultanov.

Ilham Mammadzade, Director of the ANAS Institute of Philosophy, Sociology and Law, highlighted what had been done to prevent domestic violence in Azerbaijan. He recalled last year`s conference in Baku which was organized in collaboration with the French experts. The conference featured discussions on a wide range of issues, including the expansion of scientific cooperation, and joint scientific researches.
