President Ilham Aliyev orders 10% pay rise for medical workers - UPDATE

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev yesterday signed an executive order on the 10% salary increase for medical workers as of December 1. The Cabinet of Ministers was tasked with tackling issues resulting from the order.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on rise of salaries in the sphere of education. Under the decree, salaries of the educators financed from the state budget (except higher educational institutions) and defined by Single Tariff Schedule shall be increased by 10 percent averagely since December 1, 2011. The Cabinet shall solve the questions resulting from this Decree.
