OSIAF-Azerbaijan suspends activity in Azerbaijan

“After 15 years of using grants to promote democratic reform and civil society in Azerbaijan, the Open Society Institute Assistance Foundation-Azerbaijan (OSIAF-Azerbaijan) will conclude its grant making activities in 2012 and begin a process of renewing its operations and structure,” the statement reads.

“As the foundation undergoes this transition, the Open Society Foundations, of which OSIAF-Azerbaijan is a part, will continue to provide support from outside the country to efforts to promote open society in Azerbaijan”.
