Two got injured during incident at Azerbaijan’s gas storage facility

34-year-old Ramil Shamsaddinov and 22-year-old  Senan Seferli got injured in an incident occurred at the Kalmaz underground gas storage facility  owned by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) in Alat. The injured were hospitalized.

Spokesman for the SOCAR Nizameddin Guliyev said no blast occurred in the gas holder. He said the abovementioned persons were cleaning out the pipe, when the waste gas made pressure inside the pipe. As a result of it, they were injured. They were given medical aid at the hospital and discharged.
