Turkish citizen killing relatives in Azerbaijan detained

A Turkish citizen, killing his father- and mother-in-law and wounding his wife, sister- and brother-in-law in Sumgayit city of Azerbaijan, was arrested, Sumgayit city police said.

Shener Ejder Mustafa, born in 1981, was detained as a result operational search conducted by Sumgayit police and handed over to the investigation.

The incident took place in Yashildere gardens area of newly-constructed houses on November 6. Turkish citizen Ejder Shener quarreled with his Azeri relatives and knifed his father-in-law Aziz Soltanov and mother-in-law Intizar Soltanova to death and wounded his wife Gunel, sister-in-law Aynure and brother-in-law Ramal. He escaped from the site.
