Azerbaijan, NATO to hold technical consultations on Ceyrancol project in Brussels

Azerbaijan and NATO Maintenance and Supply Agency (NAMSA) will hold technical consultations on Ceyrancol project in Brussels next week, Azerbaijani National Agency for Mine Actions said.

ANAMA Director General Nazim Ismayilov will participate in the consultations which will be held on November 15-18.

Ismayilov will meet with NAMSA leadership and ambassadors of donor countries financing the project.

Ceyrancol project considers the mine/UXO clearance of Ceyrancol area, which was former reservation of the Soviet Army in the South Caucasus situating on Azerbaijan-Georgia borders. The general area of mine/UXO area in Ceyrancol is more than 60 mln square meters. 19 mln square meters territory will be cleared under the auspices of NAMSA at the first stage.
