"Azerbaijan is not threatened by series of earthquakes"

Azerbaijan is not threatened by series of earthquakes, Director of the Republican Seismological Service of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Gurban Yetirmishli said.

He said there were weak quakes and not felt. Yetirmishli said seismological activity was in the background level.

Earthquake was recorded in Masalli on November 3, on the Caspian Sea, 45 km south-east of Lanakaran and Agstafa early morning and at night on November 4.
