Azerbaijani students receive Moscow Mayor Stipends

.A ceremony to award Moscow Mayor Stipends to Azerbaijani students has been held at the Russian Culture Center in Baku. Moscow Mayor Stipends program has been applied in Azerbaijan since 2007.

The program`s Board of Trustees in Azerbaijan consists of chairman of the Russian community of Azerbaijan Mikhail Zabelin, chairwoman of the union of nationalities of Azerbaijan “Sodruzhestvo” Tatyana Karimova, head of the Russian Culture Center Svetlana Barinova, principal of secondary school No. 145 in Baku Nikolay Vasilchenko, chairwoman of the Association of teachers at Russian educational institutions of Azerbaijan Lubov Yakunina, representative of the Moscow counterpart house in Azerbaijan Gaig Yusufzade and adviser at the Russian embassy in Baku Svetlana Kosinchikova.

Mikhail Zabelin read out the list of the students who were nominated for the Moscow Mayor Stipends.

The students received their stipend certificates from chairwoman of the International Council of Russian Counterparts Olga Entaltseva.
