Azerbaijan develops emergency preparedness plan concerning oil spill and oil industry

Emergency preparedness plan in national level was developed in connection with oil spill and oil industry, Chief of Department on Procurement and Improvement of Infrastructure of Ministry of Emergency Situations Tariyel Huseynov said.

According to the department chief, Caspian Sea faces technogenic challenge: “More than 10 mln tons of oil is carried through the Caspian Sea. It is a sea with greatest tension in the world. That’s why it is needed to develop such national action plan”.
