Place where Baku zoo to be moved changed

A place of new zoo which had to be built in Gobu settlement of Absheron district is changed, said Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Huseyn Bagirov..

Minister said that the proposals of the community on changing of the place were considered:

“The other projects must be implemented in Gobu. That’s why we changed the decision on the place. We have chosen a convenient place for the zoo. There is a wider opportunity for people to become familiar with a wild-life. From the other side there must not be a waste stream in the place where the zoo will be built, wide opportunities must be there for use of new technologies. We have determined such place and addressed for allocation of place”.

Saying that the project for construction of project was ready, minister noted that the construction work will start after the passing of decision.
