Azerbaijan’s Cabinet of Ministers confirms criteria for age limit at budget-funded institutions

Azerbaijan’s Cabinet of Ministers passed a decision to confirm the “Criteria of special merits in the development of science, culture, healthcare and education enabling to extend the age limit at the budget-funded institutions more than 5 years”.

Press service of the Cabinet of Ministers said that the decision was passed with the view of ensuring the execution of 1.4 point of Decree #460 issued by President on July 1 concerning the application of the law on “Amendments to the Labor Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan”. According to the decision, the criteria of special merits in the development of science, culture, healthcare and education enabling to extend the age limit at the budget-funded institutions more than 5 years are as follows:

1. Conferment of orders and medals of the Republic of Azerbaijan
2. Conferment of honorary titles of the Republic of Azerbaijan
3. Conferment of scientific degree or scientific title
4. Full or correspondent membership of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences
5. Laureate of state award
