On October 28 of 2011, "Buta Palace" in Baku hosted the 6th ceremony of National award "Company of the Year". For its successful activity, Media Company Day.Az was awarded "The Media Company of the Year".

"Company of the Year" is conferred to companies, which made great success in different spheres of economy contributing in the formation of the positive image of Azerbaijani business, integration of the country to the world economy and increase of social welfare.

"Day.Az Media Company" consists of three websites, which operate in Russian (day.az), English (today.az), and Azerbaijani (milli.az).
