Aflatun Amashov elected as Head of Media Platform of Turkic-Speaking Countries and Communities

Chairman of the Azerbaijani Press Council Aflatun Amashov was elected as the Head of Media Platform of Turkic-Speaking Countries and Communities.

Amashov will also chair Azerbaijani National Committee of the Platform.

The members of the National Committee are also determined: Hikmat Babaoglu (“New Azerbaijan” newspaper), Aslan Aslanov (“Azertaj” State News Agency), Vusala Mahirgizi (APA Information Agency), Vugar Rahimzadeh (“Iki Sahil” newspaper), Rauf Arifoglu (“Yeni Musavat” newspaper), Ilgar Huseynov (“Trend” Information Agency), Aflatun Amashov (Press Council), Vugar Safarov (State Support Fund for the Mass Media), Elchin Shikhli (Azerbaijan Journalist Union).
