Eurovision-2012 Organizing Committee positively responses to deploying Internet kiosks in Baku

The Organizing Committee of the Eurovision-2012 Song Contest will allow the deployment of Internet kiosks in Baku, Rizvan Osmanov, the KUR plant CEO, said on Thursday.

Osmanov said by late this month, the company will submit a prototype device that will be put into batch production, to the organizing committee.

"The devices will be installed in public places in Baku, business centers, waiting rooms and airport terminals and bus stops," Osmanov said.

This will allow tourists to have access to the Internet, he said.

Wi-Fi-networks are envisaged to be used in deploying Internet kiosks. Stand-alone device connected to the high-speed Internet lines, will provide interested persons with quick connection.
