Budget allocated for education of Azerbaijani youth abroad increased by 50%

“It has been planned to send some 400 students abroad this year within the framework of the State Program on the Education of the Azerbaijani Youth Abroad in 2007-2015.

This process has been completed,” Deputy Education Minister Gulu Novruzov told journalists.

Deputy Minister said the budget allocated by the State Oil Fund for education and living expenses of the students sent abroad within the framework of the State Program had been increased by 50 percent. Last year it was AZN 10 million, this year it is AZN 15 million.

Gulu Novruzov said the education of 5 000 students abroad within the framework of the State Program would be ensured by 2015.
