Azerbaijani citizens to be able to use e-signature by end of this year

Azerbaijani citizens will be able to use the e-signature by the end of this year, Director of the Institute of Information Technologies of ANAS Rasim Aliguliyev said.

According to him, the legal basis of issue on application of e-signature has already been elaborated: "Milli Majlis has approved law on "e-signature and e-document". The Ministry has implemented projects fulfill this law. Now, the next step is the organizational and legal solution of the issue. Azerbaijani citizens will be able to use the e-signature, soon".

He considers that, application of e-signature is not postponed: "This is not a simple issue. It will cover all Azerbaijani citizens. That’s why, the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies has conducted many works on it".

This system will cover all spheres of society.
