Azerbaijan creates another website to fight corruption

Muraciet.az will be created in Azerbaijan to facilitate citizens' appeals to state bodies, head of the Secretariat of the Commission Against Corruption Imran Karimov said at a forum on fighting corruption.

He said the website will soon start functioning. Citizens will have the opportunity to appeal to the public authorities in an e-form, Karimov said. The purpose of the website is to manage citizens' appeals to state bodies from a single center.

The website will be created with the commission’s support. Earlier, the State Commission Against Corruption ran rusum.az and etika.az. The commission prefers cooperation with NGOs in fighting corruption. It implements joint projects with them, Karimov said.
