Azerbaijan submits report on UN Convention on the Child Rights

Azerbaijan has submitted its report on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) to the United Nations, Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Problems Hijran Huseynova said.

She said hearing on the report at the United Nations is expected to take place next year, or in 2012. The report describes protection of children rights and work done toward the solution of the problems in Azerbaijan.

Husyenova said her committee together with other organizations would carry out several projects for the children in 2011.
