Azerbaijani Ombudsman announces human rights awareness month in country

On the occasion of Human Rights Day, 18 June, the Ombudsman of Azerbaijan has announced a Human Rights Month through May 18 - June 18 in the country. The goal is to discuss the achievements gained in protection of the human rights and seek for solution of the problems in this field.

Relevant governmental bodies will make certain proposals to improve the work in protection of human rights, meet citizens to make aware them of the importance of these rights for civil society.

A final conference with the participation of foreign experts will review the results of the human rights awareness month.
