Media outlets of post-Soviet area should find common ways to solve problems: Russian minister

“Media outlets of the post-Soviet area should give up thinking over their differences, on the contrary they should find common ways to solve problems,” Russian Minister of Mass Communications Igor Shchegolev said in European and Asian Media Forum in Moscow.

Shchegolev said it is crucial to discuss modern technologies, regulate of the activity of media outlets and protect author’s rights.

“Media outlets’ maintaining themselves as an industrial field depends much on these factors,” he said.
