Azeri composers' works to be performed in Manhattan

Azerbaijan Jewish Society and Azerbaijan Society of America will organize a concert on works by Azerbaijani composers Uzeyir Hajibayov and Gara Garayev by the support of the State Committee for Azerbaijanis Living Abroad in Manhattan on March 20.

The concert will be the continuation of the cultural events previously organized in New York.

Prominent figures, congressmen and senators will participate in the concerts to be held simultaneously with Novruz celebrations, APA's U.S. bureau reports.


Azerbaijani Jewish Society is the member of outstanding the American Jewish Committee and has been functioning for eight years. The Society unites 12,000 Azerbaijani Jews.
