ANAMA clears Azerbaijani territories from mines and UXO

25 mine detection dogs, 156 sappers, 47 UXO operators, eight paramedics, over 100 assistants and 12 mechanical demining flail and five  mine clear machines were involved in the mineclearance, Azerbaijani National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) told the APA. No mine or UXO explosions occurred last month.

43,272,195sq.m areas of Azerbaijani territories have been cleared from mines and unexploded ordnances and 105, 647 UXO have been neutralized up to now. 81 mine-UXO explosions have killed 51 people and injured 116 since September 2001.
