Programme for Development of Vocational Education to be approved

The programme includes renovation of logistics, capital repair of school buildings, the preparation and publication of textbooks and provision of educational institutions with computers.

Ministry of Education told APA that European Union has allocated ?3 million to the development of vocational education in Azerbaijan. The money will be spent to the improvement of vocational education, preparation of state standards and construction of tourism-profiled vocational school in the region of Ismayilli.

Asian Development Bank is also expected to allocate $660 thousand to aid the development of the vocational education.
