AFFA and head coach Shahin Diniyev agrees on prolongation of contract

Shahin Diniyev told the APA that formal agreement was reached on prolongation of the contract for the continuation of his activity as a head coach. It will be made official after AFFA president Ramiz Mirzayev returns to Azerbaijan. According to the contract, Shahin Diniyev will remain in his post until the end of European championship qualifying group stage.

Shahin Diniyev has been head coach of Azerbaijan national team since December 1, 2005. Under his leadership our national team gained only one score from four matches held in the European championship qualifying group stage.
