Investigator Namig Muradov: "I told Ramil Usubov that Haji Mammadov was heading Azer Ismayilov's case"

The video tape recording made in summer house belonged to Zakir Nasirov situated in Gayakend, Gusar was displayed in the trial today. The video tape recording made in Zakir Nasirov’s house was displayed on the grounds Naile Guliyeva's testimony.

Guliyeva said that the curtains of that house were bought with Farhad Mammadbeyov with the money given by Haji Mammadov.

The video tape recording of Naile's testimony given July 27 in 2005 was displayed.

She repeated what she wrote in the letter to National Security Minister Eldar Mahmudov. Then the video tape recording of the confrontation of Zakir Nasirov with the investigator Namig Muradov was displayed. Namig Muradov said that he worked in the investigation group established for investigating Azer Ismayilov's case.

"I said in the meeting presided by Interior Minister Ramil Usubov that Haji Mammadov and his nephew Elchin Aliyev stand at the head of Azer Ismayilov’s case. Ramil Usubov asked Zakir Nasirov and Zahid Dunyamaliyev to change Haji's department or to dismiss him. Zakir made no attempt for revealing Azer's case, I did not feel it," he said.

In the confrontation, Zakir Nasirov said that he did not hear Ramil Usubov's any order about Haji Mammadov's dismissal.

"Haji's nephew had information that his wife Lale had close relations with Azer Ismayilov. That is why it was supposed that Azer was killed by Haji. But I did not about Haji’s dismissal in the meeting presided by Ramil Usubov," he said.

Then the video tape recording of the confrontation between Zakir Nasirov and former chief of Khatai Police Department Mammad Mikayilov was displayed. Mammad Mikayilov said that he had take part in the investigation of Azer Ismayilov's case.

"I gave testimony to the preliminary investigation about the case. We found Kamil Sedreddinov and Zakir Nasirov’s telephone numbers in Azer’s telephone book during the investigation. The meetings were held in the General Prosecutor's Office, IM and Khatai Police Department. Azer’s driver said that it was done by Haji's relatives.

Namig, Zahid Dunyamaliyev, Zakir Nasirov and I took part in the meetings. The minister said that Haji should be removed from IM bodies. I do not know the reasons of his dismissal," he said.

Then the video tape recording of confrontation between Nasirov and the chief of Azesigorta State Company Mammad Mammadov was displayed.
