Iran sends donations to Baku

Iran's new humanitarian aid has been sent by the mullah Khomeini Relief Committee to Baku on Friday.

In the ceremony to receive the cargo, including 11 truck loads of donations, some Iranian and Azerbaijani officials and reporters were present.

The cargo, including 250 tons of foodstuffs and house appliances such as refrigerators, carpets, tables and chairs, have been distributed among war refugees, the needy and the Azeris covered by the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee.

The Committee continues its humanitarian activities in 19 cities, including 400 villages, of Azerbaijan.

According to the report, some 160 tons of sacrifice meat were concurrently distributed among Azeris.

The project for reconstruction of mullah Khomeini Relief Committee's office in Baku has been entrusted to a private company.
