Azerbaijan renders humanitarian aids to Lebanon and Palestine

Azerbaijan has provided humanitarian aids to Lebanese and Palestinian peoples, who suffered loss of life and destructions in recent armed conflicts, Emergencies Ministry Public Affairs Office told.

The Ministry sent four lorries containing 80 tonnes food to Lebanon and Palestine by President Ilham Aliyev’s order. The lorries started off from Adana, Turkey. Turkish Emergency Ministry helped in buying and sending the food.

Turkish deputy province governor Abdulla Dolek addressing the ceremony of sending humanitarian aid to Lebanon on 26 August appreciated this step as material and moral support of Azerbaijan for the people in very critical conditions.

Consul of Azerbaijani embassy in Ankara Ilham Nezerli and Emergencies Ministry finance-business head office chief Naghi Naghiyev also took part in sending of the aids, APA reports.
