Haji Mammadov: "Husain and Sidek Abdulvahabov brothers would not get rid of me if I had them"

Haji Mammadov responded to questions of the defendants. While answering defendant Husain Abdulvahabov's questions, Mammadov said he was sincere in all his testimonies in court hearing.

"I was shocked in the first days when I testified in the National Security Ministry. But I was not subjected to any physical and moral pressures during the interrogation," Haji Mammadov said.

He also answered Abdulvahabov's question on mysterious death of Rena Nasibova.

"Husain had told me that there was a woman called Rena in his gang. I have given sincere testimony about that to the investigation. Husain informed Rena about my deeds, but I was not aware of that. I would kill both of them if I had known," he said.

Mammadov said Sidek and Husain Abdulvahabov brothers threatened him in the court hearing, "Husain is threatening me. I killed Chechens for blackmailing. Husain and his brother would not get rid of me."

The defendant also said he will the investigation the reason why he announced his gang's murdering Monitor journal editor-in-chief Elmar Huseynov after a year and half.
