Non-implementation of Memorandum on travel of Nakhchivan population and Iran residents in simplifying rule depends on Iranian side, Embassy of Azerbaijan in Iran stated.

As APA reports, Azerbaijan ratified that Memorandum in March of this year, and officially informed Iran side for the whole execution of the document on April 8, 2006: "We hope that Iran side will accelerate works for implementation of Memorandum. The embassy of Iran in Baku has told that, the government of Iran implements necessary measures for execution of the Memorandum, studies its implementation ways, will officially announce it after the works are implemented.

November 28, 2005 during foreign minister of Iran Manuchehr Motegi’s visit to Baku Memorandum between Government of Azerbaijan Republic and Islamic Republic of Iran on residents' living permanently in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and for Islamic Republic of Iran residents travel in simplified rule" was signed.
