Azerbaijan joins meeting of CoE expert committee

Deputy head of international relations department of Azerbaijani`s Attorney General Erkin Alikhanov participated in a meeting of the Council of Europe`s expert committee on combat with trafficking in human organs, tissues and cells.

The participants discussed a bill of the Convention on combat with trafficking in human organs. The Convention envisages combat with trafficking in human organs, illegal keep, transportation and transplantation of human organs.

Alikhanov updated the participants on laws passed in Azerbaijan in combating trafficking in human organs.
