Azerbaijan`s economic achievements in spotligh of Argentina's media

An article on economic achievements of Azerbaijan was published in an Argentine portal.
The article says: “Azerbaijan`s economic growth made up 11% over the past 10 years, while the world financial crisis constituted 8%. In accordance with the World Bank, a level of inflation reduced by 27% till 2008, and will not exceed 1.8% in 2012.

“900 000 job places were opened in the country, average annual increase of direct foreign investments made up 5.2%. Besides, positive balance increased in foreign trade, currency reserves constituted 29 billion dollars, foreign trade grew by 34% in 2010 and banking assets were 25%. All this development is carrying out under the conditions of military aggression of Armenia.”

“In spite of transition to the market economy, the country preserves the State Oil Company. Over the last years large gas fields were discovered here. Apart from investments, Azerbaijan receives big incomes and allots credits and subsidies to the agrarian sector.
