Azerbaijan joins int'l conference on struggle against corruption

Employees of the Anti-Corruption Department (ACD) of the Azerbaijan Prosecutor General`s Office Asad Aliyeva and Rasim Musayev participated in an international conference called “Struggle against corruption” in Orel, Russia.

The event organized by the Russian Investigations Committee brought together representatives of prosecutor offices, investigation committees of Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Belarus, relevant bodies of CIS countries and lawyers.

Addressing the event, Asad Aliyev provided information on progress achieved in the struggle against corruption led by Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev, adaptation of new bills, joining of the country the international documents to the effect, works done in the implementation of the State Program and National Strategy and increasing of transparency in state bodies` activities.
