Azerbaijani Anti-Corruption Department joins int'l forum in Moscow

On May 30-31, the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation organized the first Eurasian anti-corruption forum and 7th international event on “Legal innovations in combating corruption” for young law scientists in Moscow.

Azerbaijan was represented at the event by Parvin Guliyev, the senior prosecutor of preventive measures and investigation department of the Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General. The event involved representatives of state structures, law community and law scientists from Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Malaysia and China.

Addressing the forum, Parvin Guliyev provided detailed information about anti-corruption reforms, as well as the progress achieved to implement the Action Plan and National Strategy on Increasing Transparency and Combating Corruption in Azerbaijan Republic.

A declaration of the First Eurasian Anti-Corruption Forum was adopted at the end of the forum.
