People went to streets in Guba region - UPDATE

A protest action outside the burnt house of the head of Guba regional executive power is continuing. APA reports that Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov and member of the parliament from Guba Vahid Ahmadov addressed the protesters.

Mammadov said problems of Guba residents were always approached attentively. “To burn a house is not a solution to the problems. I apologize to you on behalf of the head of Guba executive power. All problems will be solved. One cannot give way to such sabotages”.

Ahmadov said all detained persons would be released.  Four people – three police and one protester were injured during a protest action in Guba region today.

A protest action has been held in front of the Guba Region Executive Power's building today. Those, who took part in an unauthorized rally, demanded resignation of Executive Power Head Rauf Habibov, protesting against his recent statements. As the rally was unauthorized, police were drawn up to the scene.

According to available information, the rally participants damaged a number of buildings.
