Turkish PM undergoes surgery

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan underwent intestine surgery, Turkish agencies report. He was hospitalized last weekend and underwent surgery at the Istanbul’s Marmara University hospital. He will reportedly leave the hospital this evening.

There was a short message on Erdogan’s Twitter page: “The Prime Minister underwent short surgery in Marmara University hospital because of intestine problem. He feels well”.
